Песня супер! Вообще ее должна была петь одна Ферги и песня должна была войти в Dutchess. Но Ферги она показалась, хм... недоделанной и так и не вошла в сольник. А нелли эта песенка очень даже понравилась и он предложил спеть ее дуэтом. Вот так.

NELLY has revealed hot new single Party People was written for Fergie – but music bosses deemed it too heavy for her.

But the 33-year-old pop princess got the last laugh after asking him if she could guest on it.

The track is now hurtling up the charts despite being left to gather dust for two years between recordings.

Nelly, 34, told me: “Party People was originally written for Fergie’s first album a couple of years ago, but the beat was a little too rough for her.

“I don’t think that Fergie thought it was too hard, it was her label people.

“She didn’t mind that it went to me in the end. It wasn’t like I snatched it from beneath her nose because I didn’t hear the track until two years later.

“When I did I was like: ‘Yo that beat is keraaazy.’ Polow Da Don (the producer) was playing with the beats and then I kind of rearranged it.

“I added a bit more bass and then I called Fergie and played it to her. She loved it and asked to come on board. She was like: ‘Cool, let’s get together on this and finish it up.’ There were no hard feelings.”

The rapper added: “Fergie knows I’d do anything for her. She’s part of my family now.”

The American rhymesmith, whose new album Brass Knuckles hits shops on June 23, reckons she should branch out from the Black Eyed Peas once and for all.

He said: “She’s their superstar and if you truly love a person you’re happy for them to do their own thing.” (dailystar.co.uk)
